• Also, can you clarify if the Newcastle final venue was designated neutral? Why was it played at the ground of one of the finalists?
  • Couldn't find a reliable source or really an explanation, but I assume it was due to the fact Newcastle had also reached the FA Cup Final, which was contested a few days after the Texaco Cup final. Does the note need to be expanded?
