I am trying to make sense of the "missing years" 1918-1925.

FS Class E.552 in between. According to the E.333 article, it was Società Nicola Romeo di Saronno. Was this the same company as Ing. Nicola Romeo e Co.? Nicola Romeo seems to have owned a large number of companies and I'd like to understand the whole picture. Further information would be welcome.
