I am trying to make sense of the "missing years" 1918-1925.
FS Class E.552 in between. According to the E.333 article, it was Società Nicola Romeo di Saronno. Was this the same company as Ing. Nicola Romeo e Co.? Nicola Romeo seems to have owned a large number of companies and I'd like to understand the whole picture. Further information would be welcome. Mock wurzel soup (talk) 00:18, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

- Possibly it was Officine Ferroviarie Meridionali, bought by Nicola Romeo in 1915. Mock wurzel soup (talk) 00:24, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
