Someone from 81.102.74.174 added that factoid. is that true? it would be awesome if it is, but i can't find it anywhere. where'd you get that info from? it is the greatest commercial (or advert, if you prefer) i've seen in a while. -Sagefats 17:29, 16 October 2007.

Weight reduction

I saw a TV advert for Dairy Milk the other night, and immediately noticed that the label of the big slab bar said "230g". It was previously 250g, so presumably Cadbury are the latest manufacturer to join the (annoying) practice of trying to conceal an effective price increase by leaving the till price the same and reducing the bar's weight. I would ask for a citation on this, but there are so many citations needed already! Loganberry (Talk) 11:57, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is a little like asking for 'citation' of the invevitability of death and taxes! ;) Unless an editor never buys anything, or money is totally irrelevent to them, we all KNOW WITH ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that 'downsizing' of products is as much a fact as gravity. (though it 'sucks' a lot more) Example,

The Colour Purple

I think it should mention (perhaps in the Advertising section?) about how, at least in Australia, Cadbury say that they copyright the colour purple. I have a top deck wrapper here and on the back in small print it says "Cadbury, ellipse device, dairy milk, the glass and a half device, top deck, dream and the colour purple are cadbury group trade marks used in Australia by Cadbury Schweppes Pty. Ltd.". And while I'm quoting the back of this wrapper it also says "The equivalent of a glass and a half of pure full cream milk in every 200g of Cadbury dairy milk chocolate"... Cadbury Dairy Milk → Dairy Milk –

"Dairy Milk" is the name of the brand and "Cadbury" is the company. Also, there's already a page called "Dairy milk" (with lowercased "m") but I'm not sure what to do. AnimatedZebra (talk) 13:14, 25 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It's right there: Disambiguation "is often done by adding a disambiguating tag in parentheses (or sometimes after a comma); however in certain cases it may be done by choosing a different form of the title in order to achieve uniqueness.
