Wealth and poverty

How is is simultaneously a wealthy suburb and a city with a 23% poverty rate? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.150.56.120 (talkcontribs) 23:01, 8 June 2007

The two aren't mutually exclusive. "Wealthy" is a subjective assessment based, I believe, on comparison to the surrounding communities, while the poverty rate is presumably an objective assessment based on comparison to some explicit standard. But since the first term (and indeed, the entire "Culture" section) cites no sources for its information, I have tagged it as unreferenced. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 23:43, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
