Carl Richard JacobiCarl Jacobi — Familiar byline of this author does not use his middle name. Other could retain full name. Then no need for disamb page. Pepso2 (talk) 09:55, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose That may be so, but there is a disambiguation page at
Carl Jacobi, admitedly with only two items on it. The proposal needs to suggest what happens to that page also. Skinsmoke (talk) 12:01, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply

Other could retain full name. Then no need for disamb page. Other middle name headings have been changed at my request in the past. Pepso2 (talk) 17:10, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Neither man seems to be clearly the primary usage of "Carl Jacobi", hence the need to disambiguate. Fences&Windows 01:19, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There are more than a few pages like this throughout Wikipedia where the person starting the page puts an unnecessary middle name in the heading, thereby creating confusion. Pepso2 (talk) 02:25, 30 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
