There are a number of issues.

The entire "Early Life" section is mostly about his father.

The "Military Service" section lacks references, and implies that Romero was lying about his military service. "Like one of the charming, witty, fast-talking characters he would later play on television, he was not above giving a slight spin to the truth, saying he had enlisted after "December 1941", and served in France, Belgium, and Germany, letting the unwary assume from the order of countries that he was with the liberation forces, rather than the army of occupation." ... "The ultimate source for these unlikely statements is unknown." This is not encyclopedic, I think.

"... he had no competitive skating background and lacked the technical virtuosity demanded of such." Aside from the awkwardness of this sentence, I don't understand why his "competitive skating" background is important. Apparently he was a good enough ice dancer to be in the Ice Follies. If he started at 16, then that was in 1943. There is no coherent chronology in the article.

"This was also his first billing without the generational suffix of "Junior", which he abandoned going forward." Please! "This time and thereafter he was not billed as "Jr." "Going forward" is a detestable buzz-phrase that is used in mealy-mouthed political speeches, not encyclopedias.
