Objective information

Thanks for any work you can do to improve this school page. Please keep in mind that all information should be objective, unbiased, encyclopedic, and verifiable (cited from a reliable source). Please do not revert the hard work of editors who try to make this page fall under these guidelines. -- ForgottenManC (talk) 16:34, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It could still use a lot of cleanup (i.e., removal). Lists of clubs and classes aren't usually notable, for instance. I'll wait to see if anyone has objections, then remove them. tedder (talk) 17:26, 11 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This definitely looks like an advertisement for the school.Milesper (talk) 19:40, 9 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Encourage/require

The school requires students to attend mass, penance, and retreats. This is an important point, because it is what differentiates the school from a non-religious one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Milesper (talkcontribs) 01:07, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you can provide a reliable source for that assertion, you can add it to the article. 32.218.32.184 (talk) 16:33, 11 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV Controversial mascot

Editor for this section references probable self-written external article and does not provide a neutral POV.

Mordalf (talk) 17:13, 8 January 2020 (UTC)Mordalf[reply]

The Crusader mascot is controversial, which is not in dispute since there is longstanding controversy over the use of this mascot at other institutions as well. Since this section merely refers to the controversy there is no problem with neutrality. Mdf1974 (talk) 14:53, 15 January 2020 (UTC)Mdf1974[reply]

The section should be removed. One person reaching out to the school and 'wishing to sever all ties' does not constitute controversy enough to have it covered on Wikipedia. If it becomes a community issue rather than just a one-person issue (complete with
reliable sources), I'll entertain re-adding it. Willsome429 (say hey or see my edits!) 20:58, 15 January 2020 (UTC)[reply

I've just removed this again. Adding "controversy" to any article should be supported by a reliable source that describes the actual controversy. It is not sufficient to;

  • conduct
    original research
    to demonstrate and raise the opinion that a Wikipedia editor thinks it is controversial.
  • link to a single opinion piece where one person doesn't like something.
