Plot coincidences aren't "influence"

If I'd written what's in the Influences section, it would have been ripped out so fast my monitor would have spun around and fallen over. This is an example of what Wikipedia claims not to tolerate -- original research.

Artistic influence is more global than local. A single copied scene is hardly significant. Has anyone suggested that the Revenant scene in which Hugh Glass guts a horse and crawls in to keep warm is a copy of the parallel scene in The Empire Strikes Back, let alone an influence?
