Unreliable source template
I think I took care of the "unreliable source" message - this new reference should be much better. Journal of Neuroscience Methods is a pretty solid publication. And the Gourévitch-Eggermont article I am now citing contains the statement "..the most famous method of burst detection remains the Poisson surprise (PS) method.." and includes the citation of the Legéndy-Salcman paper.

Approval of draft
I approved his draft because I think it has a reasonable chance of passing AfD. Anyone may of course challenge it--only the community can decide. I remain uncertain about the relative weight to be given his neurobiological work, bit I;'ve done as much cleanup on this as I'm going to. DGG ( talk ) 18:49, 17 October 2018 (UTC)
