Some proposed changes

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I disclose that I am being paid by

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries
on behalf of Charles Sabine to update Charles Sabine's biography. I would like to update the "Early Life and career" section to:

"Sabine joined NBC in 1982 in London.

As a producer and correspondent for NBC, Sabine covered most of the news events of Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia from 1982 to 2005. (Among them: Iraq, Israel, Bosnia, Kosovo, Chechnya, Syria, Lebanon, Haiti, South Africa, Rwanda, Zaire, the Soviet Union, Iran, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Northern Ireland, Thailand, Pakistan and India.)"

These changes have been requested by Charles Sabine. They involved deletions and minor editing.

Hello, is there any reason for removing the mention of the person's schooling and work for The Daily Mail and The Independent? Thanks, Darylgolden(talk) Ping when replying 16:20, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Implemented Information from NBC added as a direct quotation. Spintendo ᔦᔭ 17:43, 23 December 2017 (UTC) You can disregard my question below. But please note my next comment further down. Spintendo ᔦᔭ 17:43, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The source states he joined NBC in "1982 in London, and after becoming a producer on the “Today” show in New York in 1987, returned to Europe to produce NBC’s coverage of the momentous events in Europe and the Middle East that marked the following decade." thats 1987–1997, but the proposed text says that "Sabine covered most of the news events of Europe... from 1982 to 2005." which seemingly adds 5 years to the front of and 8 years to the back of his time supposedly covering "most of the news events" (an additional 13 years worth.) Please clarify. Switch "ans=yes" to "ans=no" in the template when ready. Spintendo ᔦᔭ 17:06, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the mentioning of the Emmy award and his being spokeperson for two organizations which were unreferenced. Confirmation of Mr. Sabine's Emmy can be sought from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences website, and confirmation of his being spokesperson may be found on those organization's relevant websites. Once you've located these, we can re-add them to the article. The same goes for Mr. Sabine's work at the Daily Mail and The Independent: anything he's published under those two, we just need links to the articles (one from each) and we're good to put that back up as well.
