Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because college football players can be notable and NFL draftees can be notable. This is not a "speedy" delete. It can go to AFD for discussion if anyone wants to take that route, but there is an assertion of notability.--Paul McDonald (talk) 13:06, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've moved it to draftspace. If he's notable, then that's fine and his article can be on Wikipedia, but only when it's suitable to be in the mainspace. –

Draftified

Hello, just so you know, almost every single player that just got drafted in the NFL draft has articles this short. That is because most of these were just made and no one has the time to make long and quality pages of over 300 players in less than 3 days. Every single player gets a page right after they get drafted and most of them are just like this one. - PlaceKickerEnthusiast (talk) 21:02, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

That's just no excuse for an unsourced BLP. Just being drafted in a sports team isn't really reason enough to have an article, they sound non-notable to me. –

NFL is different. And to prove notability: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] and [6]. BeanieFan11 (talk) 23:24, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
