Merger proposal

As far as I can tell, this two pages are the same thing. There's some inconsistancy about the number of currently existing genuses (two vs three). I'll wait for a while for input and then might make the merge myself. Jason Quinn (talk) 21:38, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Image

I removed this image as it is not Chinchilla brevicaudata (now actually Chinchilla chinchilla), but a fat domesticated chinchilla (from the species Chinchilla lanigera). I replaced it with an image of a true Chinchilla brevicaudata. Peter Maas\talk 08:49, 26 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
