Information update suggestions for the page

Hellow fellow Wikipedians,

I work at the Communications Team of World Leadership Alliance-Club de Madrid. I have noticed that the page is missing some updates that reflect recent changes in the organization.

The organization is now called World Leadership Alliance-Club de Madrid (WLA-CdM) and not Club of Madrid. We don't usually refer to ourselves as “The Club”. Here are some external media that refer to the organization (https://www.thenews.com.pk/magazine/you/420976-the-cost-of-labour , https://www.larepublica.net/noticia/laura-chinchilla-es-nombrada-vicepresidenta-del-club-de-madrid , https://www.lavanguardia.com/politica/20180716/45937101644/los-espanoles-son-los-europeos-que-menos-confianza-tienen-en-su-parlamento.html ). The WLA-CdM webpage also provides guidelines on how to refer to the organization (http://www.clubmadrid.org/)

The logo of the organization has changed. The new logo can be found on our Twitter account (https://twitter.com/clubdemadrid).

Also, there have been some changes in the Members since 2014, which seems to be the last time the Members section was updated on Wikipedia. Find an updated list of our Membership here: http://www.clubmadrid.org/who-we-are/members/

The two Vice-Presidents have also changed. One is now Laura Chinchilla, the former President of Costa Rica (http://www.clubmadrid.org/miembro/laura-chinchilla-miranda/) and the other is Cassam Uteem, the former President of Mauritius (http://www.clubmadrid.org/miembro/cassam-uteem/)

Also, the current Secretary General of World Leadership Alliance-Club de Madrid is María Elena Agüero (http://www.clubmadrid.org/miembro/maria-elena-aguero/).

Please let us know if we can of further assistance in updating the Club de Madrid's page. Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Albertguaschr (talkcontribs) 13:26, 10 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

This might need updating "Additionally, there are six honorary members (e.g. Kofi Annan, Aung San Suu Kyi) and a number...."

Annan has passed away and Democracy Leader Aung San Suu Kyi has had most of her honours revoked, probably her membership, too. 2001:8003:AC60:1400:2D81:7296:89ED:2CA (talk) 05:39, 21 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Members

Good day. It feels like the list of members is inflated with achievements that happened before those people were actual members of the Club. I have checked all the sources and they do not link those achievements with each member's membership. The mention of those achievements does make sense because the Club is for former Heads of State, meaning their mandate is well over when they join the Club. Simply mentioning names should suffice. Advertising and quality standards

To address the issues of "advertisement" and "quality standards", this article probably needs to be reduced:

-The introduction summary needs to be skimmed out to retain only the gist of the Club's description

-The list of members should not be tables with photos, it dominates too much the page's real estate, yet members shouldn't be the highlight of an organization's article.

-It is not clear why the list of members focuses on those who played a part in the resolution of the Sarajevo war.

-The members' stats are not sourced, and those kinds of details seem superfluous.

-This article should rather have a simple structure such as: History, Description/Activity, Members.
