Confused?

One of the reasons why it might be 'confused with Croyland Abbey in the town of Wellingborough', is that both the Anglican Church and the Catholic Encyclopedia call it Croyland Abbey, rather than Crowland Abbey. [1] William Avery 10:24, 2 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Repeated vandalism: fishy story

This page has been repeatedly vandalised, with various references to fish. The first reference, inserted with a serious edit in 2006, is the unreferenced plea to Oliver Cromwell. This has never been reverted, although unreferenced. On the evidence of the subsequent similar vandalism, I think it is just a fishy story- but does anyone know, or should it be deleted as unreferenced?
