A note on British English

British English should be used for articles on Britain related topics. Likewise, American English should be used on articles pertaining to American topics. For a clearer example, please visit this

sub-section on the differences between their usage. --Siva1979Talk to me 01:29, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply

A note on Manual of Style

I have made a minor edit (but an important one which quite a few users are unaware of, including me!) with regards to the sub-heading of External links. According to this page, the external link section should always have the term of External links. If all articles in Wikipedia were to follow this style, the articles in this project would be more consistent in MOS format, raising the professionalism of this encyclopedia. Granted, this may seem such an unimportant observation on my part to some users, but if the idea of consistency is not followed as close as possible, new users and outsiders of the Wikipedia community would take this encyclopedia less seriously. In my humble opinion, it is the observance of these minor detalis that seperate the elite encyclopedias to the good ones. --Siva1979Talk to me 01:30, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Management/Team leaving

The source given doesn't mention the first team leaving, just the manager and his assistant, so I have changed to reflect this - if there is a reference that states the first team has left (currently the club website states nothing of the sort that I can see) feel free to add it back in! Yep, good editing. I'm fairly sure they have gone but you were wise to do that. Get an account! —

Template mystery

Could anyone please explain what it is that makes the Football in England table cells template appear in this article? The template is not included in the article, and it's not included in the other two templates (in the External links section).

I was going to remove the template, but there's nothing to remove. As a rule of thumb, articles that don't appear in a template shouldn't include it.
