IQJ non-relavance

Guys, the InventQJaya scam section does not belong in this article. This article is about Cyberjaya, not about the companies in Cyberjaya. I'm suggesting we move it out to another article. Perhaps we can make an IQJ article. --Pavithran 10:08, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its factual reference is relevant to the geographic and architectural history of Cyberjaya as a city. Details of any 'scam' should be covered in a more specific article - agreed.Junglebones (talk) 15:33, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No railway station?

Is there really no railway station in Cyberjaya? The KLIA Transit article says otherwise. Common Man 08:55, 20 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • The thing is, the KLIA Transit station is called the Cyberjaya/Putrajaya station. I'm not really surew whether it's in Cyberjaya teritory or Putrajaya teritory. Will find out and update. --Pavithran 10:11, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The Cyberjaya/Putrajaya Station (now officially called the Putrajaya Sentral) is located within the territory of Putrajaya, not Cyberjaya. Chongkian (talk) 03:44, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

40 Minutes From KL? and 30 Minutes from KLIA?

The last line should be clarified as to what mode of transportation is used when describing the distance in terms of time. Walking certainly would take longer than say a car.

WHAT HAPPENED TO MULTIMEDIA UNIVERSITY'S PAGE???

Any ideas why Multimedia University's page is deleted from wikipedia?!! It's a little bit insulting! Lindsay Lohan deserves to have a page on wikipedia but one of top universities of Malaysia doesn't?!!! I'm confused !!! 210.195.90.56 (talk) 13:39, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There is a Wikipedia article on Multimedia University. Chongkian (talk) 03:45, 9 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Area

A reader noted that the area, stated as 3.2 km², may be incorrect and suggested it is off by a factor of 10. ticket:2018082810004299 . This source suggests 2,800 hectares. Other sources suggest 3,200 hectares.

I did not see a source associated with the area in the article.

Could someone look into it?--S Philbrick(Talk) 13:33, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

161.142.227.26 (talk) 14:05, 16 September 2020 (UTC) This link to Cyberjaya's own Website points to a factsheet in PDF format [1]. Page one says "Cyberjaya Malaysia (launched in 17th May 1997) has a land space of 6,960 acres and 3,705 acres of saleable land. It is a fully integrated city and aspires to be known as the “Silicon Valley” of Malaysia." The coverage of 6,960 acre is equivalent to 2,816 hectares or 28.2 sq km. A rough visual check of the also indicates the marked area on the map on this Wikipedia page is crudely 6.5km north to south and about 4km east to west. It cannot be only 3.2 sq km.[reply]

Please update the area to 28.2 sq km.
