Really necessary?

Is it really necessary for a page like this to contain a detailed summary of the movie's entire plot? It's wikipedia, not Cliffs' notes, and besides, you know, it UTTERLY RUINS THE MOVIE for anyone who might be looking for casual information.75.64.190.54 (talk) 07:46, 3 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. I would refer you to every other _(movie) and _(film) page on Wikipedia. This is the format. It goes without saying you generally don't read the Plot section unless you want to know the plot. 86.167.58.162 (talk) 23:25, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Comparing it with The Dark Knight, it's about 600 words versus 1100. Which doesn't mean it couldn't be improved (anything about the critical reception to the movie?)No-genius (talk) 16:06, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Neo-noir?

Several film critics and film noir lists have identified Cypher as such. Shouldn't it be included in the Neo-noir category?

Audience scores

Please note that

WP:RS. That means that audience scores such as from Rotten Tomatoes
and IMDB should not be added to this article. Only the Rotten Tomatoes critic score is allowed.

Audience scores should be removed if someone tries to add them back again. -- 109.79.75.32 (talk) 22:16, 17 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
