I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 01:41, 27 November 2016 (UTC)

- Support. Fine to use DRAM (rapper), but DRAM sees extreme use as dynamic random-access memory. --Zac67 (talk) 17:33, 1 December 2017 (UTC)]
- @Zac67: I think "rapper" makes more sense than "artist" because he is a rapper after all. But he do sings most of his songs, probably "artist" is better. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 12:06, 1 December 2017 (UTC)
- Move to D.R.A.M. back to dynamic random-access memory where it would have gone prior to the rapper's article being created 29 June 2016. In ictu oculi (talk) 21:43, 1 December 2017 (UTC)]
- Agreed with In ictu oculi. I considered "(artist)" but singer/songwriter is implicit in "rapper" (how many rappers only do cover versions and not their own material? how many never sing, and only, strictly, rap and nothing else?). And he appears to not be notable at all as an actor. There's nothing in his bio here that suggest he is one other than the bare word "actor" in the lead, so it should probably be removed until he actually has sourceable acting credits. Being on The Tonight Show is not acting, it's being an interviewee and/or musical guest. — SMcCandlish ☏ ¢ >ʌⱷ҅ᴥⱷʌ< 12:10, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

- Support - I believe artist is a better term than just rapper also considering he sings and produces music. Gurdijak (talk) 20:27, 5 December 2017 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: Moved to DRAM (musician) — Amakuru (talk) 17:17, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
- Strong oppose we use (artist) for painters not rappers. BTW is the rapper pronounced Dee-er-ay-em, or Dram? In ictu oculi (talk) 06:55, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- The disambiguator "(musician)" would appear to be possible, however. Dekimasuよ! 18:33, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
- In ictu oculi, it appears to be announced like the "dram" in "drama". So yes, Dram (musician) is also possible, though there is an acronym involved. Dekimasuよ! 10:15, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
- DRAM is an acronym for Does Real Ass Music and should remain in allcaps per WP:ACRONYM. The editor whose username is Z0 11:10, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
- Support move to WP:MUSICDAB which recommends the use of musician as a disambiguator for persons who have multiple roles in their musical career. The editor whose username is Z0 19:25, 8 August 2018 (UTC)]
- "Musician" works. I suggested "DRAM (artist)" because it was proposed as a disambiguator when the page was first moved in December 2017. Also, "artist" is used to describe musicians of all varieties on Wikipedia (this list and this one are good examples). Either way, "musician" or "artist" is more accurate than "rapper." Gargleafg (talk) 03:46, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- Support DRAM (musician) per the discussion above. Dekimasuよ! 20:12, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
- Support WP:MUSICDAB, we don't make up disambiguators for this. However, (musician), is listed for the same purpose of this move, to not restrict it to rapping or other specific disambiguators Lazz_R 14:28, 17 August 2018 (UTC)]

DRAM (musician) → Shelley FKA DRAM – Multiple sources including Pitchfork, HipHopDX, NPR, and XXL called him as Shelley FKA DRAM. Even at iTunes and Spotify has his name credited as this. TheAmazingPeanuts (talk) 07:29, 30 April 2021 (UTC)
