Error in HTML
The last words in the section "Ambassador to Ireland and policits" reads "to carry out my duties.[20] hes sexy and he knows it" Notice the words after the reference! They are not visible if you are logged into Wiki. You must be an anonymous visitor to see them. I have checked those six words do not appear in the text itself. They must come from the Wiki rendering engine. You can see the error (and accompanied HTML) in a screenshot here. TaSK (talk) 11:05, 9 March 2012 (UTC)

Daniel Rooney Date of Birth Incorrrect
You list Daniel (Dan) Rooney as being 400+ years old. Per Ambassador Daniel Rooney's US Gov't bio he was born on July 20, 1932 (http://www.state.gov/r/pa/ei/biog/125608.htm) and not July 20, 1574 as liked on the wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Rooney. 70.57.171.157 (talk) 17:01, 11 September 2009 (UTC)

Rooney denied U.S. Visa to Tim Pat Coogan
Mr. Rooney displayed a total lack of diplomatic skill in refusing to give a US visa to Irish historian Tim Pat Coogan. Rooney deeply embarrassed the U.S. People with his arbitrary decision for which he failed to provide any reasoning. Coogan a writer of numerous works on Ireland, his biographies of Michael Collins and Eamon deValera are classics and his writings especially regarding the IRA and the time of Troubles in the North have no parallel. He cannot be considered a threat to America. Rooney on his own bat made a point of the refusal. He was overruled by Secretary of State Hilary Clinton after US Congressional members interceded for the visa led by Chuck Schumer and Peter King. <ref>[O'Dowd, Niall, Irish Central (21 November 2012) http://www.irishcentral.com/news/tim-pat-coogan-book-tour-canceled-after-visa-refusal-180337311-237756841.html] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Hesweeney (talk • contribs) 23:26, 20 March 2014 (UTC)
