242-FZ data localization law
It would be nice if someone were to create a page describing the 242-FZ law of 2014, amending 149-FZ and which introduces the requirement of Russian data storage for Russian personal data. This is the law that tripped up LinkedIn (http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/11/technology/russia-linkedin-data-court-blocked.html?_r=0). — Preceding unsigned comment added by DouglasHeld (talk • contribs) 14:21, 11 November 2016 (UTC)
