Nationality

It's really quite difficult to find a source on his citizenship. He was born in South Africa, that much is known. However, he spent the majority of his time growing up in England, worked for British Airways and ran his own airline company in England, as well as importing skateboards and jeans from Asia to sell in England - this, at least, shows he had a connection to England. Perhaps more intriguingly, though, his father was a captain in the Royal Air Force[1]. He's also currently categorised under 'English businesspeople.' I think it's safe to call him English, isn't it? --Bloodloss (talk) 22:56, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Animal rights

David Bale was described as an animal rights activist in obituaries [1], [2]. Most people confuse animal welfare and animal rights. Having read his obituaries he seemed to be an advocate of both. Psychologist Guy (talk) 19:29, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
