Question

Why might some citizens be opposed to the Declaration and Resolves of the First Continental Congress? - Terrence.higgins — Preceding unsigned comment added by Terrence.higgins (talkcontribs) 00:12, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Who authored, co-authored, the document?

Unlike most other historical documents of the era, the page doesn't mention who was the principal author/authors of the declaration. I'll keep looking, but maybe someone has a direct answer. Thanks. Randy Kryn 21:10 1 February, 2015 (UTC)

Document authorship?

This page as well as Declaration of Rights and Grievances should probably include the document's main authors, anyone have this info? 'hanks. I saw a wikipage recently which mentioned that John Adams authored the important fourth resolve, but was unsourced. Randy Kryn (talk) 13:19, 18 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Omitted text

@Randy Kryn, Allreet, and TheVirginiaHistorian: — I'm not sure of the actual WP policy off hand, but am almost certain that Wikipedia discourages, or forbades the enumeration of entire documents in an article. Therefore I've removed the actual text of the Declaration and Resolves of the First Continental Congress and instead added a link to where it can be read at Wikisource:
