The text of the entry was as follows: Did you know... that the 1938 hymn "Dein Lob, Herr, ruft der Himmel aus" ('The sky shouts your praise, Lord') is based on a text by a 17th-century Jesuit astronomer paraphrasing Psalm 19? From what I've found, the title's translation should actually be

"Your Praise, Lord, Heaven proclaims"

That would indeed be the better translation. Himmel means both sky and heaven - in this case we can be pretty sure it's meant to be heaven and not the sky. And rufen can mean shout, but a more formal meaning would be proclaim (or declare). The 'heaven proclaims' is much better than 'the sky shouts'. Suhusa2 (talk) 18:41, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
