Hello, I've removed the warning for possible deletion on this page. Department of Eagles are a notable band under article 6 of the "Criteria for musicians and ensembles": "Contains at least one member who was once a part of or later joined a band that is otherwise notable." Member Daniel Rossen is an active and prominent member of the succesful band Grizzly Bear, who have undergone multiple international tours and released their most recent album (Yellow House) on the well-established and well-respected independent label Warp Records. Also, although Grizzly Bear is Rossen's primary band, Department of Eagles pre-dates Grizzly Bear and remains simultaneously active as an independent outfit (see their website in the links section). Therefore the band does not easily qualify as a mere side project or "early band" and so would not be best covered by a redirect.
