The Dolphins?

They will certainly become the Brisbane Dolphins or the Queensland Dolphins. Certainly the tamest mascot after the South Sydney Rabbits. WWGB (talk) 11:23, 13 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Player signings

Is there any objection to including confirmed player signings for 2023 in the Dolphins article, perhaps as a list? For example, Felise Kaufusi and Ray Stone. Sampajanna (talk) 14:58, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Foundation date??

The NRL page claims this club was founded in 1947 ... that would mean it is the same club as the BRL's Redcliffe Dolphins ... can this be confirmed in the article? i.e. whether the club was formed in 2021 or 1947 ... Rulesfan (talk) 00:15, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The semi-professional parent club (for lack of a better word), Redcliffe Dolphins, was founded in 1947. The Dolphins (NRL) is a fully professional spin-off but separate venture / club. The BRL and Queensland Cup refer to state competitions, that Redcliffe have been and are in. The Redcliffe Dolphins are not in the National Rugby League (NRL). The new team / club, the Dolphins, are. Please refer to the article lead for clarity re granting of NRL licence in 2021 to compete from the 2023 NRL season onwards. Sampajanna (talk) 15:52, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
