Mildly Agree: Well, right now, the media appears to not be applying diacritics [1] [2] and indeed the sign on the front of the "BERRYESSA NORTH SAN JOSE" station doesn't even have one [3], even though the new BART map does. Tough call though. Wikipedia:Diacritical marks seems to be neutral on the subject, but Wikipedia:Article titles says the official title is ok as long as ample redirects are provided. @Mjdestroyerofworlds: BART is following the City of San José's convention of including the accent mark in most signage but omitting the accent mark in all caps. [4] Neither the Chronicle article nor the Mercury News article is referring to the downtown station by name, only descriptively. • For now, merge all this content to a new section called Santa Clara station (VTA)#Downtown San José station. Since both of these stations are going to essentially form one transportation complex on that street block once completed, with the exiting VTA station at street level and the BART one below ground, we are going to inevitably merge these two articles anyway.         • To clarify, I prefaced my comment "for now". Once VTA and BART name the entire new transportation hub, we would move the article again to that new name. But apparently from your comments here, you guys would prefer to keep the two pages separate for now until VTA/BART makes it official, which I will concede may up to be nine years from now based on the projected opening.
