ITC external link on trade data

Hello everyone, I am working for the International Trade Centre (ITC). I would like to propose the addition of an external link that could lead directly to the specific country’s trade data held by ITC. I would like you to consider this link under the WP:ELYES #3 prescriptions. Moreover, the reliability and the pertinence of this link can be supported by the following facts 1) ITC is part of the United Nations 2) No registration is required 3) Trade data (imports/exports) are regularly updated 4) The link gives direct access to the trade database of the specific country 5) The addition of reliable trade data to the Economy section of the country could provide an appropriate contribution to the information therein contained. Thank you for your attention.Divoc (talk) 13:09, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Possible vandalism in the introduction: National GDP has actually doubled since independence, but due in large part to high birth rates and AIDS per capita annual incomes are currently at about two-thirds of their levels at independence. This low GDP per capita, which stands at $1400, places the country among the world's poorest nations.

AIDS per capita? what is this? --85.223.105.216 (talk) 18:58, 26 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. there is an orphan article Taxation in Zambia. I suggest that we merge that page into this one. Gbawden (talk) 09:23, 22 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Zambian exports to Switzerland?

From https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c2/2006Zambian_exports.PNG, it seems there is a large trade between Zambia and Switzerland.

http://atlas.media.mit.edu/en/visualize/line/hs92/export/zmb/che/show/1995.2013/ shows it is a trade in copper.

http://www.times.co.zm/?p=58781 suggests that most of the copper is not actually sold to Switzerland at all, but to China. --Agamemnus (talk) 10:34, 23 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why fishing is not mentioned here with a single word? Ohter sources tell me, that fishing is third or second biggest emplyoment-sector of the country! TheStorm (talk) 12:03, 16 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Public-Private Partnerships

Under this section in the article, where "amounts" are mentioned, exactly which "exchange rate" are we using? I can understand the Dollar figures being mentioned but the Kwacha figures? GeographicAccountant (talk) 00:23, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
