This "folk poet" was affectionately known as "Eddie Guest." It is imperative that a redirect for "Eddie Guest" be created. Otherwise, most of the people who probably would want to look him up will be at a loss.Kdammers 06:19, 21 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I think the quality Lemony Snicket referred to are his overtly positive- verging on the optimistic- view on life and humanity in general which, while excellent in their origin, may certainly suggest a general lack of deeper consideration and further thought to the wirter.
