"It is the home of Leeds United A.F.C. and is the largest stadium in Yorkshire.[4] It is currently the largest ground in League One and indeed the largest outside of the Premiership."

Surely the second statement nullifys the first? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.217.133.1 (talk) 10:09, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected the largest crowd for the 08-09 season. Can someone please correct the aveage attendance accodingly as I dont have the statistics to do it... thanx... Chilkoot (talk) 12:16, 18 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

UEFA stars.

Someone has put five UEFA stars in the infobox. I'm not even sure Elland Road has any UEFA certification. While it would no-doubt qualify for four-stars, it is too small for the five for a kick off. With the proposed expansions it would be a five-star stadium but not without them.Mtaylor848 (talk) 13:33, 7 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ground capacity

The recent changes to the article appear to have left the article giving two different values for the ground capacity. Both figures are referenced from different sources, which is correct? As an aside the lead gives the capacity but this is missing from the body of the article and the lead is only supposed to summarise facts from the body of the article. Keith D (talk) 17:39, 26 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ground capacities are not set in stone, so such a contradiction is not as odd as it may seem. It's impossible to know which is true but I'd be inclined to go with the Football League's figures. --Pretty Green (talk) 08:17, 27 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What was the reason for the Leeds Rhinos playing their World Club Challenge matches at the stadium? Wonderwizard (talk) 12:16, November 7 2015 (UTC)

On this page, it now says the address is ‘Elanga Road Stadium’ when it’s clearly Elland Road Stadium. Some Man Utd fans have clearly vandalised the page. Elanga Road Stadium needs changing to Elland Road Stadium.

The article says that the record attendance for a rugby league match at Elland Road of 41,171 was set on 19 May 1982 for the Challenge Cup Final Replay between Hull FC and Widnes. Although that was an important match and deserves reference on this page, the record attendance for rugby league at Elland Road took place on April 30th 1938. Leeds faced Hunslet in the Championship Final. This was a Leeds derby and originally due to be played at Belle Vue, Wakefield but was switched to Elland Road at the request of both clubs. At the time the crowd of 54,112 or 54,312 (reports vary) was the biggest for a Rugby league match played in the UK as well as the largest ever crowd at Elland Road. It still holds the attendance record for rugby league in Leeds. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.121.23.250 (talk) 18:16, 5 April 2022 (UTC)  Not done: Have you got a reference to support that? ScottishFinnishRadish This is a reliable source giving 54112 as the attendance, I think. Black Kite (talk) 20:39, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
