Deletion

I deleted the Trivia-part about Emily saving Teddy. ("The novels take place during the beginning of the 20th century. Although years are left out (written as 19-- in letters and diary entries), hints of the time period are given through mentions of dress, attitudes, and outside events. In one example, in Emily's Quest, Emily keeps Teddy from going on the ship the Lusitania, which historically was torpedoed May 7, 1915, as part of World War I.") The ship is called Flavian and was not torpedoed, but hit an iceberg. See "Emily's Quest" Chapter X: "It was during his absence that the world was horrified by the tragedy of the Flavian's fatal collision with an iceberg. The headlines struck Emily in the face like a blow. Teddy was to have sailed on the Flavian (...)." Was the Flavian supposed to echo the Lucitania (which was torpedoed,) or the Titanic (which struck an iceberg.) If it echoed the Titanic, it would put that part of "Emily's Quest" in 1912. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.3.17.129 (talk) 01:16, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Musical adaption

Does anybody have any information they can add about the musical version? I think it played for just one or two years at the Confederation Centre of the Arts, but I don't know anything else. Booberfish (talk) 16:34, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lawsuits ?

The books and TV series both seem to be rather blatant rip-offs of Anne of Green Gables. Have they ever been sued because of this ? StuRat (talk) 13:35, 18 September 2009 (UTC) I don't think so. "Anne of Green Gables" and "Emily of New Moon" were written by the same author. It is not illegal to plagarize one's own works, so, I doubt that L.M. Montgomery was sued. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.3.17.129 (talk) 01:14, 1 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
