The "Norwegian oil production" chart

This chart contains some of the earliest developed oil fields and presents them as the "Norwegian oil production". Now, two of these fields are the two biggest fields in the Norwegian North Sea (Statfjord, Ekofisk), but the others are quite small, and several other fields developed later are much bigger. Thus the chart gives the impression that Norwegian oil production peaked in 1993, while that did not happen before in 2001, and gas has still not peaked.

Position as 3rd largest oil exporter

The claim that Norway is the third largest oil exporter is no longer true. The production is now less than 2 million barrels of oil/day. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.200.39.154 (talk) 09:33, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Financial retribution

The case of Norway is exemplary in terms of using the money from oil to build a financial reserve for the future.

The question is that the article is missing the financial details how much is the annual money coming from oil?

What is the percentage of oil sale price that is pay to the country?

I know, for example, that in the last biding for oil in Iraq the offers keeps 95% percent of the sale price to Iraq, but no info exist here to what is the percentage of oil sale price that goes to the Norwegian found.

SO, new additional information about this will be very interesting.

I am going to address some of the comments on the talk page to improve the article, such as providing more information on Norway's oil revenue. Also, I am going to update information on what measures Norway's government has instituted to meet their carbon emission goals with references from Kepanian (talk) 04:58, 13 November 2016 (UTC)Kepanian[reply]
