I have added a small set of links to sites that contain some of the criticism of the Directive which, for some reason, has not received as much publicity in Europe as DMCA has in the USA. --As286 21:52, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have just added {{POV-check}} to the article: the two new sections "Evidence" and "Provisional and precautionary measures" contain biased statements "Particularly worrying is..." and "Even more problematic..." I have just marked them with {{or}}. Rewording and

Fair point. Biased statements removed, sentence reworded. The mentioned sections are intended to describe what the Directive says. There are no points of view in them now and therefore there need be no external references other than the Directive itself.--As286 21:19, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I see that the links to swedish and Italian wiki-articles are actually not IPRED but the proposed IPRED2. As for the Swedish wikipedia, the original and approved IPRED doesn't have an article. I suggest a deletion of the link until such articles are created. Irodori (talk) 13:55, 11 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:

This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:

1. There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
2. It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
3. In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues.
