Catholic Church v Roman Catholic church

Since Cardinals are recognized by all rites of the Catholic Church, it does not make sense to specifically link than at that level with only one of over 20 rites of the Catholic Church. General use guidelines say when we refer to Catholic Church and catholics, we mean this Church and not Old catholic and other breakaway groups. It is also best to follow simple ways and link directly to Catholic Church. That name for the article was arrived at through discussion. If people feel the discussion was in error they are welcome to open a rename discussion. They should not try to enforce their current against consensus views on naming conventions onto other articles.John Pack Lambert (talk) 13:16, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
