Why does Wajib link to Faaridh? The two are not the same.

"Fard also means to apply make up"?

Maybe in Urdu it's spelled فرظ, but in Arabic it's spelled فرض. Armyrifle 00:55, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In the Hanafi fiqh, there is a difference between Wajib and Fard, the latter being more obligatory. [1] [2] Hamid-Masri 14:38, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Farz can also mean ‘the ruling means the thing which is so obligatory that one is not relieved of the obligation until he fulfills it, it is called farz. If this thing is a part of worship, the worship will be void without it, leaving it out is a major sin’.

Not really a sentence, and unreffed quote. If recast and reffed could go in body at appropriate place.
