No discussion of serfs

The feudal system has a common structure to Fenjian: serfs, fiefs, feudal lords, and a king/emperor. Serfs are bound to fiefs and pay head tax. Feudal lords are granted fiefs. Confucianism replaces Christianity as the governing moral order.
