Landmark commercial
Perhaps something should be included about FIDO's recent commercial - it features a man with a 'changing life' and the last two scenes include him in an apartment with a woman, presumably a partner, and then the next 'transition' features him with his arm around another man, who then 'snuggle' in together. Likely a fairly landmark situation on TV, as it's not often you see commercials nonchalantly presenting homosexuality in an everyday scenario, especially as if it was nothing out of the ordinary. I for one can't recall another commercial even featuring a gay couple that wasn't targetted at the gay community. 74.116.151.58 05:42, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Why the hell is there two paragraphs on employee's opinions on how their benefits changed after the Rogers acquisition? That's not remotely encyclopedia-worthy. --Westacular 00:42, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- These seem to have been removed a long time ago, so i'm not sure. However, perhaps a "controversy" or "labour" or similar article section would be appropriate to discuss well-known employment issues, if any, after Rogers bought Fido. --talk) 00:10, 26 June 2011 (UTC)]
Fido's Network
Fido does no longer own a cellular network that is separate from its parent company, Rogers. Fido's former network was merged into its parent company's network.
- Please make sure to sign your comment when you write on a talk page. As for saying that Fido no longer owns a cellular network, that would be false, because Fido operates regional talk) 00:10, 26 June 2011 (UTC)]

Fido logo
Hey guys, Mike from Fido here. Was wondering if someone would be so kind to update the logo with our current one? The one on the page is a bit outdated.
Our logo is available here: http://forums.fido.ca/html/assets/sitelogo.png If the file is not in the proper format, please let me know and I'll figure something else out. Thanks very much! RogersMichaelT (talk) 17:28, 4 January 2016 (UTC)RogersMichaelT

Additional citations
Hi, I am a new user to Wikipedia. I noticed that this article states that “Fido was the first carrier in Canada to launch a GSM-based network” without providing citation. I think providing additional information to reference sources 1, 2, and 3 would also aid future readers.--Jesspan96 (talk) 18:15, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
Honestly, the whole article reads more like an ad than anything. This is demonstrated by the fact that we obviously have people who work for Fido editing or attempting to edit the article (ex: user RogersMichaelT) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:FEA8:4DE0:844:C131:5DE2:5CD2:BE11 (talk) 22:58, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
