The article needs to explain what the difference between the hockeyroos and kookaburras is. The article header is not very helpful and states the obvious - it should aim to give a much broader overview of the important aspects of Australian hockey in a concise format, not simply state what the article describes. Given Australia's Olympic performance recently it would be well worth expanding this article due to the team's status. Information about the governing body for hockey and the game history in Australia would be worth including, along with more details of past performance. Look at Football in England for inspiration on what this article could include. SheffGruff (talk) 21:36, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
