Firefly Social Media Controversy & Criticism

When Firefly started its silent cancellation of flights, passengers had began questioning such news on Firefly Facebook page. Firefly's Social Media team went on denial mode and had started removing comments. Unable to engage its passengers on such situation, Firefly had resorted to banning users on Facebook. All ations were captured and saved here: http://flyfireflyz.wordpress.com/2011/09/17/firefly-deletes-fan-comments-and-ban-customers/. The act of banning passengers are still enforced as indicated by latest updates on Firefly Malaysia Passengers Deserve Better page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/FireFly-Malaysia-Passengers-Deserve-Better/274621505889844.

The banning act which resulted social media failure was a important highlight during Firefly's route cancellation process which had created furore online.

Boeing 737-400

MAS is going to replace B734 to B738. I think MAS should give B737-400 to Firefly. Firefly also needs to fly high. So they need bigger aircraft than ATR 72-500 and F50. That would be better for Firefly. User:Amir Hamzah 2008 05:51, 18 July 2008 (UTC).[reply]

This is not happening They are getting 737-800 aircraft see here: http://www.fireflyz.com.my/news-releases/firefly-expands-with-a-new-fleet-of-boeing-737-800

Destinations

I noticed some destinations are listed to start in 2009 but are unreferenced. Could the editor who added them please provide the reference sources. Thanks.

New Firefly routes

Greetings @Aaron Ngu:, I noticed you have included new Firefly operations to TWU and MYY, kindly provide official sources for the starting date for both routes. As I noticed one of the reference doesn't even mention any of the new flights to the two cities. د بڠساون (talk) 07:15, 25 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
