From the chirpy, bouncy feel of 1997's Good Feeling to the dark and more sober mood of 2003's 12 Memories. His humility and devotion has been another factor in the band's success. Although detractors like to criticise his band for being 'inoffensive', this would be perceived as half the point of the band with Fran being at the forefront of it all.

Glass Onion

Someone typed here that Healy formed Glass Onion with the other members of Travis. I don't think that's how it happened - I have the book somewhere 'Closer Every Year'. From what I can recall from memory, the band Glass Onion was already in existance and Healy Joined as a vocalist and soon 2 members were dropped from the band. Then Payne (who was working in a shoe shop at the time) was convinced to take up bass and join the band. I will research it and get back accordingly.

"Mr. Mullin Blues"

Is the reference to Fran's early song "Mr. Mullin Blues" really necessary? Being the only song quoted in the article, it stands out like a sore thumb. -- Mattbrundage 14:00, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

– Lots of different names, but the singer is more notable than the baseball player.[1] Unreal7 (talk) 11:35, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
