Cheers - for the sake of clarity I made a small edit in the section “Private Life” - should consider merging that with the following sub-section “Later Life.” - RS.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.168.58.68 (talk) 00:26, 8 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see how RS' changes add anything in terms of clarity. More like "for the sake of pedantry"! It's not particularly well-written pedantry either, with respect, but, to avoid similar charges, I won't change it back, apart from the comma RS added before "and", which is a grammatical howler. At least no-one took up RS' suggestion of merging this section with the one on "Later Life", which would have been an odd reading of a reference to something stretching back to the 1930s!! - Gervius—Preceding unsigned comment added by Gervius (talkcontribs) 01:40, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Name spelling?

I've seen numerous films with De Vol's music where he was credited as "DeVol" (no space), and don't recall ever seeing it as "De Vol" (with space). Two of the linked-to external articles here refer to him as "DeVol", and his IMDB page alternatingly refers to him as "Frank De Vol" and "DeVol". Could "DeVol" be what he used in music? – AndyFielding (talk) 08:33, 21 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
