His Unconfirmed Passing

Frankie Smith is reported by his daughter to have passed away March 8, 2019. However because his death was only reported on social media and smaller music sites, whenever someone adds the death date with a link to a site it keeps getting reverted and the page still reads that he's alive. Wow at the history-he is listed as dead on the deaths in March 2019 page though

So I was just looking up people who have a year of birth but not listed as living or dead. So I undid one edit as it looked odd as they removed refs. But now I'm confused to all this. There is a ref on the Deaths in March 2019 page though if anyone wants to add that. Wgolf (talk) 22:15, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That has been corrected. No legitimate source (such as a news article) exists verifying that Frankie Smith as passed away. 2601:240:E100:2A36:61C6:5CDA:7C1B:AE9D (talk) 22:49, 23 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]

"Smaller music sites"

Hmm. Very judgemental and superior of you to belittle some perfectly reliable sources above (I assume [BlackAmericaWeb.com https://blackamericaweb.com/2019/03/14/little-known-black-history-fact-frankie-smith/] does not meet your approval? (According to 73.9.202.181, it doesn't.) Please just accept he's now passed and move on. And then other editors like myself can also move on, and attend to the other significant Wikipedia work waiting. Ref (chew)(do) 14:17, 25 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
