A large number of sources say he was born 9 February 1928, rather than 9 March. French WP prefers February, while German and English go for March.

In fact, both of the sources we ourselves use say 9 February, yet we still assert that it happened in March. There is a ref to him turning 80 in March 2008, but it doesn't say that was when Crass himself celebrated his birthday, and it could easily have been based on the false date plucked from some reference book. Or indeed from Wikipedia.

Do we know for certain which is the correct month? Until we can get clarity on this, I'm changing it to 9 February, so that at least we're not speaking with forked tongue. -- ♬ Jack of Oz ♬ ^{[your turn]} 19:26, 25 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
