Account of when Elorde became the junior lightweight champion

I found a personal account arguing that Gabriel "Flash" Elorde won the junior lightweight match against Harold Gomes on a weekday and not a weekend in the April 5, 2002 issue of the Philippine Daily Inquirer:

"I recall that the day after that historic event happened, our school campus at the Capitol City College (now Trinity College), where I was a first year high school student then, was abuzz with the news of that historic triumph." - Diosdado Calonge of Cubao, Quezon City.
