Has anyone ever thought what a strange answer Gerhard has to give when people ask him what he does for a living? 'Yeah, I draw the backgrounds for a black and white comic about a talking aardvark. Oscar Wilde was in it, and once the aardvark became Pope. No, the pay's not bad.'

My question is, how does he pronounce his name? Willbyr (talk | contribs) 16:29, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm assuming that's a short i, like in gift. Thanks! Willbyr (talk | contribs) 23:42, 7 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Better yet, What's his real name? We're talking about Edmonton, Canada right? All it says is Gerhard and Edmonton, no name no country/region.

The picture was taken by Gerhard's wife, Rose. I've asked them if it is okay to use it. I'll update the picture once I hear back from them. Margaret 01:30, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
