Contributor(s) to this article appears to have a conflict of interest

User 12.48.106.221 is based at Seltzer chemicalswhich is part of Glanbia Plc Note:Seltzer chemicals changed its name to Seltzer Ingredients.

Same goes for user 12.48.106.219 and user 12.48.106.205.--Trounce (talk) 15:49, 20 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Revisions 432911133 and 433238596 by Themarty tried to hide this note that a user from Glanbia was editing this article. It would appear that Themarty has a conflict of interest too.178.167.163.98 (talk) 11:10, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I also reverted revision 433239213 of the article where Themarty removed {{Advert}} {{COI}} templates and asserted that the "Article is now written from a neutral point of view."178.167.163.98 (talk) 11:24, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Note a: etymology of Glanbia

Under Note a, it states that Glanbia is not grammatical Irish, and that "pure food" is 'tushar,' a word which is not found in any Gaeilge-Bearla dictionary of which I am aware. The standard phrase order is "bia glan" which means more "clean food"; English "pure food" being rendered better with "bia íon." A minor point, perhaps, but maybe it is best to replace Note a with "Glanbia is a neologism from the expression bia glan, which means clean food." Please correct me if this is inaccurate. What about creating a Gaelige page for this entry? Anyone?

Merge in
Premier Dairies
?

Seems like the few sentences that constitute

Premier Dairies could be fairly easily merged into the consolidation discussion in this article. Thoughts? jxm (talk) 02:40, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply

'Co-Op' not Co-op?

Should all the precursory co-operatives named, eg. 'IDA Co-Operative Creamery Ltd' not be Co-operative rather than 'Co-Operative'?

Move article to Tirlán?

Given the name change has been launched and the group rebranded, is it time to move to article to Tirlán? Smirkybec (talk) 15:06, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. A.-K. D. (talk) 16:22, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Glanbia still exists as a PLC. Milk production and co-op operations have split off and rebranded as Tirlán.
The article for Glanbia Co-op was moved to Tirlán, but this article should remain for Glanbia PLC. Cashew.wheel (talk) 16:29, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
