Can someone tell me why this page is the redirect for Glenelg Football Club? Should it not be the other way around, as Glenelg Football Club is the proper name and Glenelg Tigers is the colloquial name? Pudgey 23:19, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You're right. The only possible reason as to why it directs from Glenelg Football Club to Glenelg Tigers is that a Pommy ******* initiated this page.—The preceding

And don't think I'm not grateful that you started the article.  :) But now I shall have to work out how to change it around to the
AFL convention. Pudgey 22:36, 7 October 2006 (UTC)[reply

Old club song

The statement that the song was changed to Tigerland in the 70s due "political correctness" is rubbish. There was no such thing as political correctness in the 1970s. It was probably due to the alternative meaning of gay but regardless...citation needed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.253.205.149 (talk) 12:39, 5 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
