A hydroelectric power plant was also set up in Gokak Falls in 1887, is one of the oldest projects of a kind in the region. The first Hydroelectricity was generated here in Gokak Falls in whole Asia continent. Sanjube (talk) 04:08, 10 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
