What about a section about how GBS eats bookmarks. It's been eating mine all the way up until a few months ago (it's now Dec 2007), when I disabled it. Apparently other people have the eats-bookmarks problem as well: (http://boing.com/wordpress/2007/08/06/google-browser-sync-tool-eats-bookmarks-solved/) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.138.64.141 (talk) 03:48, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other similar extentions.

Would it be worth noting that there were already extensions for syncing bookmarks such as Foxmarks? --Lewk_of_Serthic contrib talk 00:42, 10 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, that's hard to say since this does more than simply sync bookmarks; it also pulls your cookies and saved passwords. So it's really more of a "Browser Sync" (as the name implies) than "Bookmark Sync". --Juvenall 16:00, 7 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Plus, encryption!

Speaking of encryption, does anyone know what algorithm they're using? They support massively long PINs comprised of any ASCII characters, but are they using a solid feistel cipher or some really basic, easy-to-crack stuff like ZIP file encryption? --Lode Runner 23:22, 30 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Any idea when this widget will work with Firefox 3? I'm testing Firefox 3 on one machine and losing this feature is paining me. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.177.125.250 (talk) 04:52, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
