Tripping Incidents - edit warring

There appears to be an ongoing edit war about whether or not a section on past reported activities of tripping/fouling is appropriate to this article. As a passing, totally disinterested editor who has never heard of this individual, it seems to me at first viewing that this content is relevant to the activities of the sportsperson, is recent, and just prior to their becoming a professional player.

Bearing this in mind, I would ask involved editors to discuss the issues here, check the citations, consider the neutrality of the section, and come to a consensus on what is included or excluded. That's how we work here. We also block editors who engage in edit-warring and who breach the

WP:3RR rule. Be advised. Nick Moyes (talk) 12:08, 28 February 2019 (UTC)  [reply

I've semiprotected the article for a little while. FWIW, "the next hated white Duke player" part does seem unnecessary, but the rest of that section looks fine. --Bongwarrior (talk) 22:19, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I just reverted an IP who removed this content (completely unaware of this discussion). Now that I am aware, I am adding my two cents as a previously uninvolved editor to say that I agree with the above. Especially since he was stripped of his captaincy and suspended, this would fail NPOV to remove it and I see no good reason to. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 08:26, 6 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

My edits were completely constructive and accurate. Everybody knows that Allen is a chronically dirty player, and he demonstrated it again on Friday night January 22, 2022, with a professional wrestling move that sent Alex Caruso to the floor and broke Caruso's wrist. The article should reflect this FACT. 73.45.80.128 (talk) 21:28, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 6 July 2019

I would like to edit the Grayson Allen page on Wikipedia. He is no longer a player for the Utah Jazz as he was traded to the Grizzlies this off season. Thank you. Brendanbpalm (talk) 21:02, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 12 July 2019

On July 11, 2019, Allen was issued a flagrant shoving foul on Grant Williams, then proceeded to be ejected after swinging and hitting his (Grant) head. https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2019/07/12/friday-hot-clicks-grayson-allen-grizzlies-summer-league-ejection-video 180.150.36.212 (talk) 13:33, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Player profile

Can this article get a section titled 'Player profile'? Somewhere it has to be mentioned that he has a reputation as a dirty player dating back to college; more than just a reporting of incidents. That also seems to be what this talk page has been alluding to.72.174.131.123 (talk) 04:11, 22 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Should Allen’s quote/apology on the foul that he committed against Alex Caruso be included?

Good catch on the phrasing, Mandomanny313. Instead of just re-adding it and changing how I worded it, I was curious if the consensus is that his quote on the incident should be included in the first place. I’m honestly not that opinionated on the matter, but I feel it has significance because he is addressing an action which he committed that has gotten much attention the last few days, and I have seen this quote from him in several articles. I also feel as if I have seen quotes on controversies from the perpetrators themselves included on Wikipedia pages before, and in this instance I think it may add some amount of neutrality as right now there is only a condemning-his-actions from the coach of a different team. The quote in question being: "It was unfortunate how it played out, I jumped to block it with my left, and as I'm spinning went to grab the ball with my right hand, not throw him down. It was a really hard fall and I'm glad he's okay. If I could do the play over again knowing he'd fall like that I wouldn't make the play." a reference that shows it: https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bulls/grayson-allen-addresses-flagrant-foul-bulls-alex-caruso Thanks in advance for any responses.
