Infobox and lead

  • Ellinikós Telikós 2012 should be italicised in the infobox
  • Wikilink Athens
  • "facing the nation at the time," → "facing Greece at the time,"
  • "with the majority of it taking place online." this is not directly mentioned in the body
  • "of the 2012 contest," → "of the Eurovision Song Contest 2012,"
  • "Eleftheriou was randomly selected" → "Greece was randomly selected"

Background

  • Target "Die for You" to (I Would) Die for You
  • Target Antique to Antique (band)
  • Target introduction of semi-finals to Eurovision Song Contest#Introduction of semi-finals
  • "only twelve points" → "only 12 points" per
    MOS:NUM
  • Remove "The Greek national broadcaster" introduction to Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT)
  • Not all of the "such as" part appears to be sourced, unless Google translate is not working properly for me
  • "in the 2012 contest citing to the contest's" → "in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, citing the contest's"

Before Eurovision

Ellinikós Telikós 2012

  • "reaffirming that they would" → "reaffirming that Greece would"
  • The source only mentions that a record label was seeked for participation, not anything about it being major
  • The types of costs mentions do not appear to be sourced
For the above two items, To Paron (translated) For this reason, ERT consulted the largest record companies that have an international network or are national divisions of international networks, in order to participate in the costs of our participation in the Competition (such as the production and recording of candidate songs , cd production, promotions, fees for creative and artistic contributors, travel and accommodation in Baku, etc.). I have added this ref to the end of the sentence pair. Grk1011 (talk) 17:26, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • "on a national final titled" → "on a national final entitled"
Competing entries
  • "and Velvet Fire were" → "and Velvet Fire, were" but apart from the Universal Music Greece part, the info of the first two sentence does not appear to be sourced
  • The Hellenic Radio stations part is not directly mentioned by the source
The above two are now fixed. I think I had reworded this for flow, but swapped some of the refs by accident. Grk1011 (talk) 17:26, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • The "best known" and Dora parts are unsourced
  • "at age fourteen," → "at age 14," per MOS:NUM
  • The "best known" and "formed shortly before" parts are unsourced
  • "Naya, and Maria." → "Naya and Maria."
  • "in late 2011, and" → "in late 2011 and" but again, this is unsourced
  • "
    Aphrodisiac
    "," with the target
  • "Mikaela Stenström, and" → "Mikaela Stenström and"
  • The "best known" and "emerged as a participant" parts are unsourced
Entry selection
  • Img looks good!
  • "took place on 12 March 2012 at the River West Mall in" → "took place on 12 March at the River West shopping mall in" to be accurate with the source
  • Target ET1 to ERT1
  • "was televised on" → "was televised on both"
  • "in playback with" → "in playback, with"
  • Target ERA2 to ERT3
  • "Eleftheriou with
    Aphrodisiac
" was" → "Eleftheriou with "Aphrodisiac" was"
  • The Universal Music Greece acts are not sourced
  • Target Loukas Giorkas to Loukas Yorkas
Reception
  • "poor hosts, and use" → "poor hosts and use"
  • Target playback vocals to Lip sync
  • "2006, and 2009." → "2006 and 2009."
  • The above sentence and the succeeding one do not appear to be backed up by the sources, unless I missed the info
  • "Many also commented that" → "Many also complained that"
  • "a limited budget, and" → "a limited budget and"
  • "the case the previous year." → "the case with Ellinikós Telikós 2011."
  • Remove wikilink on Greek government-debt crisis

Promotion

  • "where she participating in" → "where she participated in"

At Eurovision

  • Wikilink Eurovision Song Contest 2012 on the img text
  • Target Big Five to
    MOS:LINK2SECT
  • "at Buta Palace" → "at the Buta Palace"
  • "from its initial performance" → "from the entry's initial performance"
  • "including a large shell." → "including a large golden shell."
  • "in that role" → "in that role for Greece"
  • "This placed the nation the after" → "This placed the nation after"
  • "held on 26 May," → "held on 26 May 2012,"

Voting

Split results
  • "and the jury awarded" → "and the jury awarded the nation" on both instances

  • Good
Points awarded by Greece
  • Good

Final comments and verdict

  •  On hold until all of the issues are fixed; marks a change reviewing a non-San Marino article from you for once! --K. Peake 17:42, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
It was much easier to write about an entry that I liked! Most of the sources were easy to locate, though for a couple items I removed some extra detail that wasn't obvious from the sources. Should be good to go unless I inadvertently introduced new issues! Grk1011 (talk) 17:26, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Grk1011 This is a well-written article on your part evidently; about the types of costs mentions, I made sure specifically at the time to write "do not appear to be sourced" since I knew there could be a translation issue.  Pass now, you worked through the issues well even if it reduced size at points like you said! --K.
